@katiekats @maiyannah It is true that most people look only at the nearest possible term and not at the effects & consequences. There are lots of things that would simply die out if people allowed themselves to think about the consequences and to respond accordingly.

Threadbare games which require paid DLC to make them usable is one of those things. So is rampant #JavaScript code executing in everyone's browsers.
