     Repo as mailing list or !group; if you're following a repo, your #GITmessage client shows you the message of every commit to that repo

     @davidross sounds like #Slack not #GIT. Maybe #GITHub but not everything GITHub is GIT (*cough* #GITLAB *cough*)
