All the #cryptocurrency discourse of late has me thinking back to the early days (9/21/11) of #OWS, when I rolled into #Zuccotti with this sign and a #Bitcoin shirt...
Flash forward 6+ years. What're the most #cooperatively designed and oriented #crypto projects right now that contribute to building a financial system that works for everyone?

#FirefoxQuantum is definitely fast, but did you know that it has the first formally-verified #crypto algorithm in a browser? Thanks to @beurdouche @_franziskus_ @INRIA and Project Everest! https://blog.mozilla.org/security/2017/09/13/verified-cryptography-firefox-57/
Happy Kernel release day everyone!
Today we celebrate the birth of 4.14 which not only brings better GPU support, but also encrypted RAM (if you have CPU support of course).

Looks like a bunch of really cool projects that seem to aim to provide good intuitive user interfaces for privacy needs. Except peerio, which seems like yet another though end-to-end encrypted, but centralized (yawn) messenger, I'm gonna try some of these, and we could share experiences in the comment thread. Especially Gridsync, a (finally?) usable client for the notoriously difficult to use but hailed end-to-end-encrypted peer-to-peer cloud storage system Tahoe-LAFS, seems promising.
